The event brought together leading international experts in thermal energy storage, providing a valuable platform for discussions on technological advancements and future challenges in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Promoting the HYBRIDplus Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, we had the opportunity to present the <strong>HYBRIDplus project<\/strong>, an EU-funded initiative coordinated by our team. The project aims to demonstrate an <strong>electrified thermal energy storage system<\/strong> based on <strong>Phase Changing Materials (PCM)<\/strong> in a <strong>cascade configuration<\/strong>, designed for the next generation of <strong>hybrid Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)<\/strong> plants using <strong>advanced supercritical CO\u2082 cycles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project\u2019s objectives are strongly aligned with the technical focus of the IEA TCP-ES, and it was met with great interest by the attending delegates, reinforcing the connection between collaborative research and industrial innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Special Thanks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the<br>\ud83d\udccd<strong>ETSi \u2013 Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenier\u00eda de the Universidad de Sevilla<\/strong> for their outstanding support in making this event possible.<br>And a big thank you to all the participants for their engagement and contributions throughout the sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From May 20th to 22nd, 2025, the University of Seville hosted the 99th Executive Committee meeting of the International Energy Agency\u2019s Technology Collaboration Programme on Energy Storage (IEA TCP-ES).
