On June 9, from 10:30 to 12:00 (CET), HYBRIDplus will take part in the third webinar of the SOLARX project, titled
“Solar Concentration Technologies for Flexibility on the Production Side”
This online event is part of the European Sustainable Energy Week’s (EUSEW) Sustainable Energy Days initiative and aims to open the floor to experts, researchers, and industry actors working on the development of dispatchable hybrid renewable technologies based on solar concentration.
Organized by the SOLARX consortium, the webinar brings together representatives from six EU-funded projects, all contributing to the innovation and deployment of clean, flexible energy solutions across Europe.
HYBRIDplus contribution
Among the invited speakers, Dr. Cristina Prieto, professor and coordinator of HYBRIDplus, will present the project’s latest progress in the design and validation of electrified cascade PCM (Phase Change Material) configurations, as well as updates on the pilot plant currently under construction for validating the electrified Thermal Energy Storage (eTES) system.
Her presentation will highlight how this technology can contribute to improving performance and dispatchability in Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) systems.
