A warm welcome from ODTÜ-GÜNAM at the METU Research Center
Today, the HYBRIDplus consortium gathered in Ankara, Türkiye, for the kickoff of its 8th General Assembly, warmly hosted by our partners ODTÜ-GÜNAM at the METU Research Center.
The first day’s agenda offered a valuable introduction to the host organisation and its broader ecosystem, setting the stage for productive discussions throughout the meeting.
Discovering ODTÜ-GÜNAM’s expertise and research environment
The programme began with an insightful presentation by ODTÜ-GÜNAM, highlighting its strong capabilities as a Center for Solar Energy Research and Applications. The session provided an opportunity to learn more about the centre’s multidisciplinary team of more than 135 experts and its extensive involvement in EU projects.
Participants also had the chance to take part in an immersive tour of the GÜNAM research facilities, offering a firsthand look at its cutting-edge solar technologies and testing services.
A valuable and instructive day for the consortium
This first day in Ankara marked a strong start to the General Assembly, combining scientific exchange, institutional discovery, and collaboration within the consortium.
